Today's Session: Sneak Peak

What a pleasure to photograph such a beautiful little lady. I had so much fun today! Here's a sneak peak of one of my favorites. Many thanks to C for being such a patient and helpful mommy. 

What do you notice first?

The eyes, of course! I've been having the hardest time with eye-pop. I can't find a good balance. Are these too-too? She's a beauty and has gorgeous eyes. Did I do them any favors?

It all has to go!

I've decided that the first order of business is to toss my current sad and pathetic portfolio and start over from scratch. Argh!!!

I think my head may explode...

I just got back from an incredible workshop that has my head spinning! I've been looking forward to attending Skye Hardwick's Business Bootcamp for photographers. I thought it would be the kick-in-the-pants I needed to get my business going. Wow!  It may take me days to process all of the information I learned, and then months to accomplish the to-do list I've created. I swear I had a mini panic attack in the car on the way home trying to decide where I should start.  Only after turning on the radio and singing at the top of my lungs for 10 minutes was I able to calm down and refocus. I think for the first time, since I started on this path towards starting my own business, I felt like it was really going to happen, that I could make this dream come true. (Here, have some crackers with that cheese!) So anyway, I'm excited and anxious to get things rolling. Here I go...
